I was meant to check the place out last year when i was in town, but due to short stay, and some other thing came up. When i went there few days ago, it’s a mess all around, it’s in a process being renovated for modernized shops and office space. so i didn’t have the chance of photograph the building with bare bone form.

*drooling*….your photos of Shanghai 1933 made me want to fly to there right away! heh.
In the second picture on this blog, somehow reminded me of Holocaust where bodies were gas showered… that is pretty similar since you mentioned that Shanghai 1933 used to be “butcher warehouse”. Isn’t it amazing to have historical buildings around the world?

Alice: this is a cattle slaughter house… i wouldn’t compare it to holocaust camp grounds… this slaughter house looks just too nice to house cattle…
