I have to thank Tim for giving me this opportunity to shoot this wedding, 1 for extra cash toward my travel fund. 2 for erasing the post-dramatic experience i had with my last wedding gig. and sure enough this one turned out pretty well. as a backup photographer, it’s a pretty easy task to do, as long as i dont have to deal with the bride. but some day.. that fear needs to be tamed.. someday perhaps…

pictures this way

timmy hard at work, with a broken foot.

i can say this wedding has been iphonelized! Apple owns all the wedding now

as they look onto their life together into the future

gotta love that little girl’s expression

it’s groom’s job to make the ladies happy that night

but only tim can order the ladies around that night

hey, you forgot to add “T” to “im.” Tsk, tsk, tsk…
yeah… funky css issues.. fixed.
Nice nice! I like how you captured some interesting angles and moments there.
finally see tim in your photo!
btw, i could tell that you did good job too. you will overcome the fear in no time.
what kind of camera & lenses mm you use if you don’t mind?
i like a old lady with misty eyes and her huband front of bride and groom how you capture moments there. i noticed you like the flash directly to them rather than flash bounce on the ceil.
Bobby: thanks
Buzz: overcome my own fear is no small task
i will make my time. as for the camera, 5D/35L/85L/16-24
i use a ring flash which gives me a nice glow effect. thus.. i cant bounce it off the wall or anywhere but flash directly, it’s attached to the lens
hui,
d@mn it, i never thought of your good trick to use a ring flash. cuz my narrowed mind is old tradition to think of ring flash for only macro purpose. now i can see the difference in photo to your good advantage. this is first time i learned something else. just add the ring flash to my wish list for x-mas.
Love the works, especially the first one.
thanks tate
