采访刚开始，黄秋生显得有些漫不经心，对于刚获得的“香港回归十年最佳男主角”这个荣誉，他没有表现得特别兴奋。但当我把内地影迷总结他的那句“配角铸就的戏精，烂片起家的影帝”写给他看以后，他忽然兴奋了，声调提高了八度：“谁写的？很精彩！我喜欢！”低头想了想，他抬头总结：“这就叫人民艺术家。”
从艺17年，拍过160多部电影，两届金像奖影帝，两度届最佳男配角，“回归十年”影帝，参演的新片《太阳照常升起》进军戛纳……这些头衔还不足以说明黄秋生。他给人们更深的是四个字：嬉笑怒骂。
如今，这份嬉笑怒骂将换个方式表达出来，他要当导演了！第一部片子讲的就是男女关系，一个男人和十个女人的故事。“十个女孩子，高的，瘦的，肥的，矮的，身材好的，身材不好的，讲话快的，讲话慢的，全部来跟郑中基(男主角扮演者)谈恋爱。”他的导演冲动来自“要报女人的仇”！陈弋弋
